Concession project for the creation and operation of the tram line "Kupchino metro station - Shushary - Slavyanka settlement"

About the project

Slavyanka is a part of the St. Petersburg tram network under construction, which is supposed to connect the Kupchino metro station in the Frunzensky district with the village of Shushary and the city of Pushkin in the Pushkin district.

The project, developed by the Giprostroymost — Saint Petersburg Institute, provides for a 21-kilometer-long highway with at least 15 stops. Within the section of the highway, it is planned to cross the tracks of the Oktyabrskaya Railway, Moskovskoe Highway and Vitebsk Avenue, Ring Road, intersection with the Moscow — St. Petersburg high-speed toll highway.

The line is supposed to connect the Kupchino metro station with the residential areas of the village of Shushary, passing through Novgorodsky Prospekt and Starorussky Prospekt, and then provide a connection to the Slavyanka microdistrict. 21 three-section wagons should be used to provide transportation.
